A note about the records
The files date from c.1906 to c.1960. Even though the files primarily cover loans generated by the Returned Soldiers Settlement Act, 1916 (Act No 21, 1916) the files may contain details of land acquired as a Settlement Purchase prior to World War I which were subsequently transferred to a Returned Soldier.
